Legends Dental

K+A was selected to design a 2,690 S.F. new office building for the Legend’s Dental Clinic in Soldotna, finishing with a construction cost of roughly $580,000. This building serves as an upgraded facility from their previous office located in the Kim Professional Building, also designed by K+A. In designing their new building, we sought to effectively address any underlying issues with their previous office space by thoroughly communicating with the Owner to identify areas in need of improvement. In addition to creating a more functional space to perform their daily operations, they also desired to have a comfortable environment in which their patients could feel relaxed and enjoy their visit to the dentist’s office. An important element of our design included making daily routines by staff members more efficient through well-thought placement of structural elements along with essential dental equipment. By making the overall space more open and fluid, we allowed for ease of traffic flow through exam rooms to accommodate the movement of both staff members and patients. We focused on utilizing warm and inviting colors as well as a variety of textures in our materials to draw attention to the details. The use of well-placed and eye catching artwork, along with large open windows, and high quality materials creates a visually enticing space that leaves a strong impression in the mind of anyone who steps foot through the front door.
